A serious legal battle has emerged in Sacramento County, California, as a plaintiff seeks justice for injuries sustained in a vehicular accident. The complaint was filed by Azam Moghadas Zadeh Behbahani on November 27, 2024, in the Superior Court of California against Alfredo Mejia Lopez, Simon Gutierrez, and Golden Gunite Pools Inc.

The case revolves around an incident that occurred on December 2, 2022. According to the complaint, Azam Moghadas Zadeh Behbahani alleges that while driving in Sacramento County, their vehicle was struck by another vehicle owned or operated by the defendants. The plaintiff asserts that this collision resulted from negligence on the part of Alfredo Mejia Lopez and Simon Gutierrez, who were allegedly acting within their roles as agents or employees of Golden Gunite Pools Inc., a California corporation.

The complaint outlines several accusations against the defendants. It states that they breached their duty of care by failing to operate the vehicle responsibly and violated various relevant codes and statutes. "Defendants knew or should have known such actions constituted a dangerous risk," claims the document. As a result of this alleged negligence, Behbahani suffered significant physical injuries and financial losses including medical expenses and loss of income.

In seeking redress from the court, Behbahani is demanding compensation for both past and future damages—special damages like medical bills and general damages for pain and suffering—as well as interest allowed by law and costs incurred during litigation. The plaintiff also requests any additional relief deemed appropriate by the court.

Representing Azam Moghadas Zadeh Behbahani are attorneys P. David Cienfuegos, Mona Deldar, and Rene Gutierrez from Deldar Legal based in Los Angeles. The case is being heard under Case No.: 24CV024372.
