A California resident has filed a lawsuit alleging assault, battery, negligence, and false imprisonment against her former employer. The complaint was filed by Miray Yarasir in the Superior Court of California, County of San Francisco on March 27, 2025, naming Double AA Corporation and its employee Hyait Aish as defendants.

The case stems from an incident that allegedly occurred on February 12, 2025. According to the complaint, Miray Yarasir was at her workplace located at 1435 Huntington Ave #200 South San Francisco when she was violently assaulted by employees of Double AA Corporation. The plaintiff claims that without any legal justification or reason, she was struck with fists by Hyait Aish and other unnamed employees referred to as Does 1 through 25. This attack resulted in serious personal injuries for Yarasir.

Yarasir's complaint details three causes of action: assault and battery, negligence, and false imprisonment. In the first cause of action for assault and battery, it is alleged that the defendants used excessive and unreasonable force against her without probable cause. The second cause of action claims negligence on the part of Double AA Corporation for failing to properly supervise its employees, which contributed to the incident. Finally, the third cause of action accuses the defendants of false imprisonment by unlawfully restraining Yarasir against her will during the incident.

As a result of these actions, Yarasir alleges she suffered severe physical injuries and emotional distress requiring medical attention. She is seeking compensatory damages for her injuries and suffering as well as exemplary and punitive damages against the individual defendants to deter future misconduct. Additionally, she requests prejudgment interest and coverage for costs incurred due to the lawsuit.

Representing Miray Yarasir is attorney Robert Buzzard from Ayala, Morgan & Buzzard law firm. The case is being heard under Case No. CGC-25-623751 in front of a judge yet to be named.
