LOS ANGELES – An Ojai photographer alleges a Woodland Hills website owner unlawfully used her photographs.

Lisa Corson filed a complaint on March 8 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California against Crestico Inc. and Does 1-10 alleging copyright infringement.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she has suffered damages to its business as a result of defendants' violation of a federal law by willfully infringing plaintiff's copyrights to at least 15 photographs. The suit states the defendant unlawfully used the photographs on lenderhookup.com without authorization.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant, statutory damages, account and pay over all profits derived from infringement, actual damages and further relief as the court may deem just. She is represented by John Tehranian and Peter R. Afrasiabi of One LLP in Newport Beach and Joanna Ardalan of One LLP in Beverly Hills.
