FRESNO – A Friant couple allege the Ford vehicle they purchased has a defective transmission.

Brandon Davis and Nicole Davis filed a complaint on April 18 in the Fresno County Superior Court against Ford Motor Co. and Does 1 through 10 citing the Song-Beverly Act and the Magnuson-Moss Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that they purchased a 2013 Ford Focus in 2015 that came with various transmission and engine defects. The plaintiffs holds Fort Motor Co. and Does 1 through 10 responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to remedy the defects.

The plaintiffs seek general, special and actual damages; restitution; incidental and consequential damages; actual damages; interest; all legal fees; and any other relief as the court deems just. They are represented by Mark Romano and Timothy Whelan of Romano Stancroff PC in El Segundo.
