SAN FRANCISCO – A condo owner has filed suit against a neighbor over allegations he was restricted from the common area of the property.

Silu Chen filed a complaint on April 12 in the San Francisco County Superior Court against David Shek and Does 1 through 10 alleging breach of contract, nuisance and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that he suffered damages from being unable to access the garage and backyard of the property. The plaintiff holds Shek and Does 1 through 10 responsible because the defendants allegedly installed a dead bolt lock on the garage to keep the plaintiff out of the area.

The plaintiff seeks damages, injunctive relief, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. He is represented by James J. Jirn of Gravel Jirn in Oakland.
