LOS ANGELES – The board of directors for three union plans alleges that a Hermosa Beach corporation has failed to submit to an audit.

Board of directors of the Motion Picture Industry Pension Plan, Account Plan and Industry Health Plan filed a complaint on May 19 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, Western Division against Lookout Entertainment Inc. alleging that the defendant violated the Employee Income Retirement Security Act of 1974.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that between Aug. 7, 2011, and Aug. 15, 2015, plaintiffs required the defendant to submit reports in order to determine whether all contributions have been properly reported and paid in accordance with their agreements.

The plaintiffs hold Lookout Entertainment Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed and refused to comply with audit demands.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek judgment for liquidated damages, auditors' fees, attorneys' fees incurred, costs of suit, and for such other relief as the court deems appropriate. They are represented by Kathryn J. Halford, Elizabeth Rosenfeld and Armine C. Alajajian of Wohlner Kaplon Cutler Halford and Rosenfeld in Encino.
