FRESNO – A credit union alleges a Fresno resident defaulted on an auto loan and it is entitled to possession of a truck.

United Local Credit Union filed a complaint on Oct. 10 in the Fresno County Superior Court against Melissa Ann Esquivil, also known as Melissa Ann Esquivel; Frank Andrew Nino; and Does 1-10 alleging breach of written contract

According to the complaint, Esquivil and Lithia Ford Lincoln of Fresno entered into a sales contract for a 2016 Ford pickup truck and this contract was assigned to the plaintiff in February 2016. The plaintiff alleges Esquivil defaulted on the contract in May and it is entitled to take possession of the truck. The plaintiff alleges the defendants failed and refused to return the truck.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendants in the principal sum of $36,989.14, interest, attorney's fees, costs of suit, and further relief as the court deems just.
