SAN FRANCISCO – A San Francisco County man alleges that a physician and medical center failed to properly diagnose him.

Varinder Virk filed a complaint on Dec. 31 in the San Francisco Superior Court against UCSF Medical Center Risk Management; Jason Harris Pomerantz, M.D.; and Does 1 to 100 alleging negligence - medical malpractice.

According to the complaint, twice in October 2017 and in November 2017, Virk presented to defendants for medical care diagnosis and treatment. He alleges the defendants failed to properly diagnose him and provided improper care and treatment following procedures for a hidradenitis condition.

The plaintiff holds UCSF Medical Center Risk Management, Pomerantz and Does 1 to 100 responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to exercise the proper degree of knowledge and skill in administering medical attention to plaintiff.

The plaintiff seeks judgment for general and special damages, costs of suit and such other and further relief as the court may deem proper. He is represented by Joseph K. Bravo of Bravo Law Offices in San Francisco.
