FRESNO – Two Fresno County individuals are alleged to have abandoned a home construction project in Clovis.

Raymond Alonzo filed a complaint on Jan. 22 in the Fresno County Superior Court against Kalia Moua and Peng Vang, individually and doing business as All-American Homes, and Does 1 through 50 alleging breach of contract and other counts.

According to the complaint, on Oct. 17, 2016, Alonzo entered into a home construction agreement with defendants to build him a residence in Clovis for $105,000.

The plaintiff alleges he later learned the defendants were not licensed contractors and as of February 2018, the residence is only partially completed because the defendants abandoned the project. The suit also states that the defendants failed to pay the subcontractors.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment for compensatory damages for $44,085, treble damages in the amount of $132,255, prejudgment interest, attorney's fees, costs of suit, such other and further relief as the court may deem proper. He is represented by Amy R. Lovegren-Tipton of Law Office of Amy R. Lovegren-Tipton, APLC in Fresno.
