SAN FRANCSICO - Bauer's Intelligent Transportation faces a class action lawsuit in the San Francisco County Superior Court for allegedly failing to pay its employees minimum wage and failing to offer meal breaks, among a number of other labor code violations.

According to documents filed on February 11, plaintiff and class representative Frank Rene Lopez worked for the defendant from 2019 to 2020. Lopez leveled numerous accusations against the defendant. He alleges that Bauer's didn't pay him for all the hours he worked, didn't pay minimum wage, didn't pay overtime, didn't offer meal breaks or rest periods despite working an eight-hour work day or more, and didn't reimburse appropriate business expenses, such as using a personal cell phone for work.

Bauer's is further accused of not offering pay stubs or other documentation/explanation of payment to its employees.

The defendant is charged with failure to pay minimum wages, failure to pay overtime wages, failure to provide meal periods, failure to authorize and permit rest periods, failure to idemnify necessary business expenses, failure to pay wages of discharged employees, failure to provide and maintain accurate and compliant wage records and violation of California Business and Professions Code.

The plaintiffs request that their unpaid wages be paid in addition to other damages deemed fit. The class is represented by Moon and Yang APC.
