Randall McCuin has filed a lawsuit alleging medical negligence against a dental practice in San Francisco, claiming severe injuries due to improper dental care. The complaint was filed by McCuin on January 28, 2025, in the Superior Court of California, County of San Francisco, targeting Siavash Dehghani, Azar Sona Saeidi, and Soothing Dental Inc., among others.
The case revolves around alleged negligent dental procedures that began on April 30, 2020. McCuin engaged the services of Siavash Dehghani and Azar Sona Saeidi at Soothing Dental Inc. for the removal of his remaining teeth and replacement with implant-supported fixed dentures. However, McCuin claims that the treatment he received was substandard and resulted in significant complications. According to the complaint, "Defendants failed to respond to Plaintiff's complaints in a medically approved manner," leading to broken dentures and implants that required further corrective procedures.
McCuin accuses the defendants of acting negligently and unlawfully during his treatment period from August 30, 2020, through December 23, 2023. He asserts that this negligence caused permanent injury and left him with only temporary dentures while metal implants remained improperly secured in his mouth. The plaintiff contends that these actions violated medical standards of care expected from licensed healthcare providers in California.
The lawsuit seeks general damages for pain and suffering as well as reimbursement for incurred expenses related to additional dental treatments and professional services necessitated by the alleged malpractice. McCuin also demands compensation for future medical needs arising from the defendants' actions. Additionally, he is pursuing interest as provided by law and coverage of legal costs associated with the suit.
Representing Randall McCuin is attorney James K. O’Gallagher from San Francisco. The case is presided over by Judge Sahar Enayati under Case ID CGC-25-62186.
