A California resident has filed a class action lawsuit against a maintenance company, alleging widespread labor violations. The complaint was lodged by Cindy Tatiana Mendez De Lopez in the Superior Court of California, County of Santa Clara, on April 24, 2025, targeting Millennium General Maintenance LLC.

The lawsuit accuses Millennium General Maintenance LLC of engaging in a systematic pattern of wage and hour violations under the California Labor Code and Industrial Welfare Commission Wage Orders. According to the complaint, these alleged violations include failing to pay minimum and overtime wages, not providing lawful meal periods or rest breaks, failing to reimburse business expenses, and not issuing accurate itemized wage statements. The plaintiff claims that these practices have been ongoing for several years and have affected numerous non-exempt employees across California. "Defendants have increased their profits by violating state wage and hour laws," alleges Mendez De Lopez in her filing.

Mendez De Lopez is seeking monetary relief on behalf of herself and other similarly situated employees to recover unpaid wages, unreimbursed business expenses, benefits, interest, attorneys’ fees, costs and expenses, as well as penalties pursuant to various sections of the Labor Code. Additionally, she is asking for injunctive relief to prevent further violations and seeks restitution under Business and Professions Code §§ 17200 et seq., which prohibits unfair competition. The plaintiff also demands compensatory damages according to proof at trial and statutory penalties where applicable.

Representing Mendez De Lopez are attorneys from Aegis Law Firm PC: Samuel A. Wong, Kashif Haque, and Jessica L. Campbell. The case has been assigned Case No. 25CV464353 in the Superior Court of California for the County of Santa Clara.
