SACRAMENTO - Joyce Syers, as successor in interest for Sherman Herbert Silva, deceased, filed a federal lawsuit on Nov. 15 in the Eastern District of California against the County of Butte and Sheriff' Korey L. Honea for damages for wrongful death.
